Fundraising

We have chosen to donate all the proceeds of our fundraising efforts to the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society of New Zealand.

While in past occasions we saw our cycling holidays as simply the best way to travel, we now put all the focus on the ecological aspect of travelling by linking our trip to the cause of Forest and Bird. What started as a mere cycle tour through New Zealand, grew into a  project with the sole intent to make people see that we need to change the way we treat our planet. We are exhausting our natural resources and it is essential we put an end to this mass consumption culture and manage every single aspect of our lives in a sustainable manner.

Hopefully our adventure and website will help Forest and Bird to continue to grow and help to raise awareness on the importance of biodiversity of our planet. We also hope we can get people to see there are easy and fun ways to contribute actively to nature's cause.

If we get the opportunity to enjoy New Zealand's nature, it only seems fair we make this small effort and help Forest and Bird in order to ensure future generations can keep enjoying the natural beauty of Mother Nature.
